Population Studies

New_Picture_(1).jpg
This link takes you to a clock giving an up to the minute estimate of the global population. This is a mathematical programme run from Berkeley, but it allows students to see how quickly the global population is increasing. You can even go back (or forward) through time. I use this at the start of one period and we see how much it has gone up in a day, week etc.
New_Picture_(2).jpg
This link is similar to above, but run from the New Zealand Stats Dept. The only difference is you will have to refresh to get up to the minute estimates.
